Re: Advanced vs Hardcore Playcalling

well im in my 2nd year of franchise 1st year playbook was on advanced this year its on hardcore, i noticed on hardcore the cpu attacks vertically more instead of those 4 yard dink and dunk they DO try to attach the corners other than when they are in catch up mode

Just wanted to clear this up a little.

Backtrack is NOT rewind. Backtrack is what you are talking about with Collinsworth breaking down the play.

Rewind was the magical ability put in last year to re-do the play.

Re: Advanced vs Hardcore Playcalling

I wish Ian or someone would hi jack this thread and tell us if there is a difference between advanced and hardcore other than replays and back track.

Re: Advanced vs Hardcore Playcalling

I am seeing the same basic thing as SGMRock...nothing different between Advanced and Hardcore playcalling for me. I wish that I could say otherwise, but I can't.

Played against the Browns on Hardcore, and they blitzed way to much, made it way to easy. Maybe it's just the 3-4 teams that blitz like crazy on Hardcore.

Re: Advanced vs Hardcore Playcalling

I don't know about this. I had been playing on hardcore for about the first week or so until I heard about the replay issue and then switched it over to advanced. While I wasn't exactly paying close attention to it, I haven't noticed any difference in CPU play calling and I've played a decent amount of games on each setting. I'll give it another look just in case but my gut is telling me that this is just a placebo.

Re: Advanced vs Hardcore Playcalling

I also see no difference in playcalling. The only way I know to limit the cpu blitzes are the team sliders in franchise. The defensive aggressiveness is backwards. Raise it to 100 and put the run/pass at 50.
