Ive had more success just charging straight down and then trying to curl around the tackle for pressure, not even using the right stick gimmicks. Everytime I use the gimmick stick I get locked up and waste like 3 minutes trying to wrestle away from a hold by the tackle. LOL, its pretty sad for the likes of D.Ware and his 20 sacks in real life.

The d-lineman does what ever move hes better depending on the situation moving it up or down does nothing different you can't choose between power or finesse.

I haven't played a madden game in almost 10 years and this aspect was so dissapointing. What ever happened to a button for swim move, power mover, etc. I have also had the problem of moving the stick to do a move and then since it is also the hit stick my defender doesn't get hit and will go into tackle mode and fall on his face.
The instruction manual in very bad and doesn't help much. Especially for someone that hasn't played in a long while.
I can't even figure how to switch to onside return after choosing kick return?
