Superstar could be so much better! Ideas.

To be honest, too many other things need fixed in the game before they can/should devote alot of resources to this. Gameplay and franchise are both much more important than Superstar. I think they should take Superstar mode out altogether, until they are ready to actually do something with it...but I cant see that being anytime soon.

Can I do something with my money? Like when they first had it you started out in a crappy apartment and then when you earned more money you got a nice mansion give me something to play for other than a title

also i cant stand being the automatic starter and not being able to change my number drives me INSANE

Man, i love those ideas, those would for sure help out SS mode. I cant honestly say it has been half way decent since madden 06 for the Xbox.

Me too but it seems that EA gave up on improving the SS mode because they felt like it wasn't as important as the other modes.

This cycle may continue for many years to come:

Ea doesn't feel like they need to improve SS mode because nobody is playing the mode as much as Franchise.

But, nobody is playing the mode as much as franchise because they want SS mode to be improved.

Never ending. It is going to have to start with EA taking the first step in SS mode.

Yea i want to make like a complete list of improvements that should be made, even if theyre made throught two years. I want to make this list of improvements and get it out there, post it every where so it can be noticed and hopefully by EA. So if any of you have any ideas then post them and ill add them to the list.

I agree and so does EA. You can tell by just how rediculously bare bones this mode is. It could be great and the ideas by the OP and others are superb. Another poster somewhere else added that SS mode needs to spinoff to its own game. I'm in complete agreement there. If you took the majority of the stuff mentioned above and other ideas I have seen elsewhere and implemented them you'd have a good title. And in giving it its own title, the developers would actually be held to putting some time and thought into it. It might turn into competition for Madden sales then which could be problematic. Maybe that's a reason they haven't done much with it. Dunno.

Why isnt there a combine? And whats up with practice?

I wanna see a combine workout and even a pro-day!

I want to practice more then once a week. And I want that practice to make sense! Not just running play but real drills. And I want the results to effect my player.

This mode should focus more around everything leading up to games. More choices. Am I a good team mate and a student of the game or Am I a problem child diva that just that only show up for games. I would love to go out and have the media criticize me for my "playboy" persona!
