You can't switch teams in next-gen madden.

The developers said in an interview prior to release that you could but no one has figured out how.

32 team franchise is the only way. Real easy to do, set the CPU to run everyone else and then switch to user for whatever team you want to switch to.

But then you would have to draft and sign free agents for everyone else though right?

Not if you put everything on CPU controlled. Although you do have to sit there and keep clicking yes during the FA period when it asks if you want to confirm the signing of every player the CPU went after.

The cpu also won't offer you trades and won't trade among itself. You can also can see the POTENTIAL rating of every player on a team - all players that are not free agents.

Re: HELP-Changing Teams in Franchise

Oh yeah...I forgot about that. That's the major reason I don't like 32 team chises. You can't really trade because everything will be accepted so it's kind of boring.
