it makes no sense to have to play the CPU when someone quits

Someone quit a game and I played the cpu then my connection dropped while playing the cpu and I got a Loss

Agreed 100%. If that person quits at anytime. You should get awarded the win. Because playing the AI should not happen online. It's a dumb idea and it should change.

I'm with ya. In my online franchise, guy just quit and now I have to play a whole half against the CPU. beat.

Yea it makes sense. Should you get the same credit playing 5% or whatever percentage of a game than someone who plays 100% of a game.

So, using your logic, people that win against people with a bad record shouldn't get a win. Why should they get the same credit as someone that wins against somebody with a winning record?

That's not using my logic at all. Yes you should get a win vs a bad player/team or a good player/team. Just like real life.

It prevents people from boosting their records online. If you didn't have to play the CPU, then someone could just get his buddy to join his game and quit right away, giving him a win.
