Re: Running between blocks

Who is your running back? I don't have a lot of luck running up the middle with speed backs, but power backs seem to have a better feel for it.

Re: Running between blocks

steel city, is the cpu giving you a challenge? Cause I don't want to throw for 400 yards a game and run for over a 100 a game.

Perhaps its because you instantly hit the sprint button

Re: Running between blocks

Set tackling to 0, that eliminates almost all suction tackling.
my run slider right now are run blk 0, brk tckl 50. for both human and cpu

on defense for human: everything at 0 and cpu everything 0 except reacton time at 60. The running game feels good to me. maybe a little easy to run but you can still increase cpu reaction time. But i wouldnt touch tackling slider at all and block shedding not too much.

Re: Running between blocks

i think if madden get a patch similar to ncaa that make blocker block the right person rushing will get better. many time they will run right past dl or lb and get someone five yards down the field.

Re: Running between blocks

Pressing he sprint button (RT on 360) when you are near a blocked defender seems to trigger a shed-block animation by the defended, followed by a suction tackle. Try not holding down RT until you are through the line and in the open.

Re: Running between blocks

Ok its simply this: you're getting too close to the defender.

You can hold turbo all the time, if you maintain the minimum distance that doesnt trigger tackle.

Re: Running between blocks

Running between the tackles is a huge problem for me. IMO, it's an animation issue. Blocking interaction still nees a lot of work. There's still too much win or lose. No inbetween. Engaged blocks desparately need some mobility.

And I agree with who ever mentioned the arm tackles. They're needed, and backs should run through them fairly frequently with some resistance.
