the flats may be broken but I can stop it! most plays don't work against it but i have a found a few.

Maybe if all the routes in the game actually worked we wouldn't have to throw drags, hooks, slants, and short ins and outs.

yeah seriously i can defend the flats too. i think that people just say something is broken if they are not good enough to overcome it(like the flats).

No, those are just the ones you can do by hot routing.

The deep out route (the Colts use it alot) is wack, doesn't work at all.

I'm not that good at Madden, either. I don't have a problem with people throwing into the flats, but don't do it every single play. As long as someone is using a variety of plays (which is really not that hard to tell), I don't care if every TD is a slant route. I can beat them soemtimes, sometimes I can't. The only thing that pisses me off (can I never ever quit) is when you're beating me by like 3 or more scores in the 4th quarter, why do some people have to go all Bellicheck on me and keep passing? If I score, I understand it, but if they're stopping everything I can do, why do some need to rub it in like that? That's the only thing that really pisses me off.

that is the unfortunate truth and people will cheesy cheese their way to victory if that means staying undefeated. it's ridiculous. one of the many reasons I refuse to play online.
