Is it just me or does the pump fake pretty much worthless

I used to think it was pointless, but I made a nice play last week. Rolled out left with Roethlisberger, pump faked towards Holmes fooling Ngata and Ray Lewis who were up close on the blitz, tucked it away and ran for a first.

Where I do think it could be more effective though is against defensive backs in coverage.

I just hate how you can't pump fake during your drop steps...lame..

Wouldn't this make it harder to pump fake? If CPU awareness is moved up to 100%, it seems like the CPU would be less likely to be fooled...

It isn't a slider issue, it's a programming AI issue. Because the DBs run the routes way too good and they dont ever bite on anything. Play recognition is way too good and over powered.
