There's nothing like paying $60 on release day and then waiting 2-3 months for the patch so that we can actually PLAY the game.

You said it brother, I've been waiting for that patch to come out so I can actually play. It gets boring just playing exhibition after exhibition.

I'm starting mine this weekend, probably Sunday after the games. All I was waiting for is the 53 man roster update. I've never had to restart franchises for a patch in the past.

I'm waiting for patch #2...which seems like it will be awhile. I just can't get started knowing that it will be much better statistically than it is now.

i tried to play franchise but i just cant get into it, i jus look at the stats and feel like quitting

tough. i write up my madden franchise blogs and journals and its hard to do that w/o the correct stats. im gonna just see how the stats look like if i supersim through the wks games to see how much more realistic the stats become (except my controlled team which id obviously play). anyone tried that out? seeing how stats are based on supersimming through all the games?
