Breaking tackles

does anyone know how to do this? ive tried putting the cpu tackle slider at zero and my break tackle slider at 100 and on most plays one guy can usually tackle my running back. i even tried using Adrian Peterson and still nothing. any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: Breaking tackles

Depending on player, I usually press up on the right analog stick or stiff arm if I have the proper position. I don't know how to explain it, but you have to anticipate which evasive move will work.

Use the hit stick. My situation may be a little bit different than yours because I use Brandon Jacobs a lot.
