C. Palmer or J. Cutler in Madden.

Who would you rather have as your QB in Madden? Carson Palmer or Jay Cutler? I like Palmer better, but was unable to draft him in my franchise fantasy draft (not enough cap room for that pick, got a bunch of big contract guys early on), so I picked up Jay Cutler. They have very similar stats for the most part (identical THP very similar SAC/MAC/DAC, similar Throw on the Run and Play Action), but Cutler is a little better in the scrambling department and is younger.

Yet, after a rather sad simmed season (78.8 QB rating, 63% completion, 23 TDs, 17 INTs, a little over 3000 yards), I'm contemplating trading Cutler for Palmer. I like Palmer better and after one season (one decent season, which he had) his accuracy skyrockets (+11 to each of SAC/MAC/DAC) and he becomes an elite QB. Who would you rather have as your QB, Cutler or Palmer?

Let me reiterate that this is in MADDEN, not a fantasy football league or in real life, in Madden.

Cutler. IIRC, he doesn't have the injury issues Palmer has. He's also much more mobile than Palmer.

back in madden 08 i would not hesitate to pick carson palmer right on the spot and i still don't. he is 2 years older than cutler but is on eof the best pocket passers in the league. if he had an oline like peyton has he would have tossed 50 TD's by now

in madden i take cutler he is younger and prolly less likley t get hurt in real life i take palmer because he is more of a leader with a level head.

Cutler is a beast on this game. That's who I play with.
