Depending on the time left in the qtr, the clock still runs even after running out of bounds.

I agree w/ you about qbs looking unstoppable, depending on who it is.
I belive that they make certain qbs w/ a comeback logic, maybe not a full fledged comeback ai, just certain players. Maybe its depending on awarness or even a hidden clutch attribute.

True - I guess I was thinking mostly in the final 2 minutes when I'm trying to run it out to seal it on offense.

AWR is my theory. Has to mean something for the AI players. AWR and maybe OVR (if OVR is over 90 then *do 4th quarter superman code here* )

Just happened again to me against Brady. Replayed the same game, was close. Took the lead and was containing Brady pretty badly...until the final drive of the game.

I would say it was just the Indy/Pats came all over again, except Indy milked the clock to make it the last play of the game. Brady (and the whole team) just zipped down the field like nothing. My coverage was awful suddenly. They were getting 5-6 second in the pocket.

I would call it fatigue, except...they weren't playing like this all 4th quarter and I had the ball a solid amount of time (so nothing like the Miami vs Colts split), it was about even TOP.

Ah well, it's just a game and you can't win 'em all, but when I hear "no comeback AI" and then see that *twice* in a row in the same game...heh.

I wonder if the OP saw Peyton Robo-QB the Pats on Sunday. Comebacks happen. I bet nobody moans and complains when THEY come back from a 3 touchdown deficit to win a game.

@KBLover, I had 43 sacks with Elvis Dumervil lol

I'll play Mr. Trebek.

I dont think there is "comeback AI" per se.. but there is definitely a "clutch" or keep it close rating hidden in there somewhere.

That combined w/the momentum swings and progressive fatigue, makes having the early lead more harrowing than being behind.

I don't think I've ever come back from a 3 TD deficit to win, especially not with a line score that looks like:

0/7/0/28

Like happened to me in one game.

And 43 sacks is insane. You all must be Madden experts!
