User-Controlled Accelerated Clock

Wouldn't this make this more sense? As it is right now, when I get to the line I barely have enough time to examine the defense and make changes if necessary. The way they implemented the accelerated clock isn't bad but I think it could be better.

Have it user controlled. Assign it to R3, or whatever. You pick your play, get to the line, examine the defense, and after your satisfied lets say you have 20 seconds left on the clock, hold R3 and let it accelerate down to 5 seconds.

This is especially useful under 2 minutes. I hate having to sit there for 30 seconds just to run out the clock.

It can work for both single player and multiplayer. For multiplayer games there would have to be some kind of on screen notification to alert the defense that the offense is going to accelerate the clock (in case he wants to call a time out, i.e under two minutes).. or maybe both players would have to engage a certain button to accelerate the clock..

Haven't seen this brought up before. Sorry if it has.
