Opposing Coach's Challenge

Sorry if this has been posted before....

Was playing vs my son tonight - I was the Lions, he was the Bengals. Game tied at 24, went into OT. I won the toss, and was driving downfield. I'm around the Bengals 35, the TE catches a pass then fumbles it.

I just go about my business, and figure "oh well". But then, the CPU has Cincy challenge the play - and it was reversed! WTH?? So my son got hosed by his own team! And he didn't even request the challenge!

The only thing I can think is, this was really an official's review, but it said it was Cincy's? Has anyone ever seen an actual Official's review?

Just bizarre. I'd love to know if anyone else has seen anything like this.

lol at this. How old is your son? If he is under 13, then taking him to OT and then getting upset over this is funny. If he is over, then thats cool.

When I have kids, I am not going to let them win. If they want to play me, they have to learn football. They'll be the "sim" kids of the school.

He's 12, and we both had a good laugh, he was a good sport about it. He couldn't be too upset because I got screwed right before halftime on a field goal attempt (the 'ol call holding and end the half trick).

Aren't all reviews in OT booth reviews now? I have definetly seen official "booth reviews" (in the last 2 mins of halves), and it says on the bottom bar when it is. I can only think it must be a slight bug in the name of the challenge, same as you.

All overtime reviews are referee's reviews, there are no coachs challenges in OT.
