How do you personally play defense?

i drafted DT carnell woods in my first offseason, so now i play as him every down, sort of my version of superstar mode. on plays where he is subbed out or i go in 3-4 i let the cpu control everyone.

I usually drop my DE into pass coverage to break up all the underneath routes. Or I'll play as my FS and play the middle to breakup the crossing routes.
