Anyone else just get frustrated reading the debate over the potential rating?

It's just like there's a threshold of understanding that some guys can't cross.

But I'm real happy to see that the vast majority of guys on OS understand the rational way to go about handling potential.

To the OP. Raising players potential would defeat the purpose of having a potential based system.

Ratings determine performance, not the other way around.
