If you're gonna cater to the "casual" gamer, who doesn't care much about realism, stop calling Madden a "sim" franchise year after year.

If they wish to cater to the sim gamer, then the series needs a serious overhaul IMO.

Just venting a little bit, but I'm still serious.

I would've agreed with you post-Madden 09, but I think it's obvious now that the game is headed towards a sim. It's not there yet certainly, but it is headed that way. I think EA has already made their decision as to which direction they are headed with this franchise.
