i was just wondering if anyone could answer this question...

Wats the secret to kicking really long field goals?
I've seen ppl hit 54, 55 and even 58 yard field goals while i'll miss 49, 50 yarders. i get full power but i leave the default height of the kick if that has anything to do with it

You have to aim the kick lower to get more distance on the long ones.

Madden's kick height is definitely wrong, then. My extra points are so low, and in real life they're clearing the top of the uprights. Same with deep kicks, of course you have to aim low, but in the real NFL, nobody kicks bullseyes toward the endzone.

yeah ive made a 59 and 60 in same game and maybe a 61 in another, cant remember. Anyway, you def. have to aim lower for over 48 or so.

In all honesty its way to easy, any kick 55 yards or under is a guaranteed make, it takes the difficulty out of the game.

This kicking system was supposed to be more challenging but the system where you had to push x once for power and once again for accuracy was definitely much more challenging imo.
