I absolutely love this idea. In fact didn't we have historical teams in the past? So it can be done we would just have to edit in the names like NCAA.

So the stadiums and the uniforms would possibly create a challenge, but yeah this is a really nice idea.

I seem to recall that EA was sued by a few former players a few years ago so I think that led to a nix on the historic rosters.
