Pass Rush,,,Turbo or No Turbo?

Hi

Im in constant search of better pass rush techniques and was curious what sucsses you have rushing the passer.

I have read "dont" use turbo...use turbo so Im curious, I want your way of pressuring the qb, but please just explain how you user control your way to the qb

I read somewhere and I cant find it now...to move you player towards the ol and go towards the shoulder and then flick the RS and once defender clears OL press turbo(thats not exactly what I remember but if that sounds familiar let me know)

anther way involves holding turbo through out the rush so help please

The best success I've had has been getting lockdown corners. The better coverage you have, the longer the QB holds onto the ball.

I hold Turbo the whole time and flick the right stick outside of the olineman, usually being a dip move. as soon as i break the block i hit the x button on the Xbox to dive at the QB. even if the QB is in motion to throw you will stop them just like a normal sack in previous maddens

i try not to use turbo, i think it causes the qb to go into panic mode. this may just be my imagnination though. i usually just use stick moves to get to the qb. and then if im in position for a sack, i wont use the dive button. ive only had 3 user sacks in a little over 1 season. not too good.

RS Up = spin move

RS left or right = rip or swim move to that side

RS down = bull rush

So it really depends on how strong, agile or fast your player is. Then use the move that best fits your player attributes.

I don't ever use the turbo until after I cleared the blocker. Mainly because you don't have unlimited turbo and if you use it too soon and the QB bolts, you will be gassed and won't be able to catch him.

Not correct according to a developer post here, right stick does whichever move the players best at so if he has a higher power move rating he will do that first unless the situation really calls for a finesse move.

Either way it does not matter which direction you move it in,that was posted by Ian i believe to lazy to find the post though.

I've only see it play out how madskillz' post read, no matter what lineman i use

I turbo only in open space. Turboing in traffic only seems to cause alll kinds of problems.
