Best/Worst Trade Ever

I found the Best/Worst trade ever depending on how you decide to look at it. I started a Franchise with the San Diego Chargers using default rosters. The very first thing I did was offer Jamal Williams for Aaron Curry to see if the Seahawks would go for it. They did, so I looked to see what else I could get. The final result...

Chargers
DT Jamal Williams (90 OVR) age 33 "A" potential
FS Paul Oliver (55 OVR) age 24 "C" potential (added to avoid 55 player limit)

for

Seahawks
MLB Lofa Tatupa (90 OVR) age 26 "A" potential
CB Marcus Trufant (88 OVR) age 28 "A" potential
LOLB Aaron Curry (84 OVR) age 23 "A" potential


I've been trying to understand how trade logic works in Franchise Mode, and so far this is the most drastic trade I've come across. I talk about others in this thread... http://www.operationsports.com/forum...ade-logic.html

For those of you that like "realistic trades" this thread is not for you because this trade is about as unrealistic as it can get while still working within the system. Just thought it was extremely interesting and worth showing.

(On a side note... looks like it's going to be easy to make a Chargers Franchise )

Just did, i had to give up a first and a 2nd round pick instead of the 55ovr guy (forgot his name)

I once traded a 6th round pick for Lorenzo Neal(back when he was on the Raiders). That's probably my worst trade. I don't trade much. But seriously the guy is a great FB, rated 91 in the game and they basically just handed him to me for nothing.

while we are on the topic of trades, what do you guys think of this one. im a penn state fan, so id like to trade for maybin. im thinking of offering mario williams and possibly getting a draft pick along with maybin. or maybe okoye for maybin straight up...then i could have williams and maybin as my ends. any thoughts?

Isn't Maybin an OLB? I thought he was a little small for a 3-4 end, maybe not. If I were you I would try to get a bigger DT than Okoye and move him to DE. Seems like the Texans lack that big man in the middle but I may be wrong I don't play with them often.
