People ACCIDENTALLY got it for free... that won't be happening for you, sorry dude.

And you don't have the patch because it comes out in the US TOMORROW.

I don't know if it is 'accidental'. I mean, how much could EA geniunely expect to make from releasing it over here in the UK/Europe/Australia? Maybe they just decided to give it us for free because they anticipated it wouldn't sell over here.

I'm pretty happy about this though. Just started a random game (Bills/Chargers) AFC uni's, camera effects, different score layout, even the 'Ask Madden' picture is an old pic of him from the 70's

Really liking this. The AFL games in Franchise mode are sweet. It has all the uniforms, says at the bottom of the screen 'AFL 50th Anniversary Legacy Game' (where it would sometimes say 'Happy Thanksgiving' etc) Especially liking the fact that it doesn't use the sepia 'vintage' camera style for the AFL games in franchise.

Is the AFL Pack available for download on your PS Store right now? If it's not in the store right now, and you downloaded the one that was up in the PS Store a few weeks ago (accident,) then you already downloaded the file that unlocks all of the AFL content once you've downloaded the patch.

If you don't download that file that was accidentally put up then you can't use the AFL content. I think that's already confirmed.

Re: AFL FREE IN PATCH?!

Yeah, I downloaded the 'pack' that was released a few weeks ago. Seems that's what does the trick since I was just talking to a dude that has the new patch but didn't download the AFL 'release' a few weeks ago and he doesn't have the AFL Legacy content. So yeah, seems if you downloaded the release a few weeks ago, the AFL Legacy patch is free. Pretty big oversight by EA for a lot of people but great for people like myself.

(Just been through the list of 'Official details' for the AFL patch on ESPN.com and everything is included, franchise mode stuff, the uni's, camera angles, the new Madden Moments etc)
