This IMO is easily the best Madden yet and that's what it should be.....Soooo what's the dilly ?

Much rather have the Hit Stick than not have it !! I personally stink at using the thing, but the people that do use it well....just have better skill and it makes you have to protect the ball better and adjust your game

They do have a protect the ball feature that's hardly being used by most

Sorry but this is a great game !! people complain about everything
Look maddcat Im not complaining. Im simply asking for other peoples opinions to see how most people feel about it. So anytime someone has an opinion its considered complaining?

I really enjoy this game, and have surprisingly really enjoyed playing online despite the cheesers. My record is 18-12 0%DNF hit me up for a game anytime. PSN Dem-Boyz-28

Re: Hitstick Warriors, cheese?

Another cheese thread. Every player needs to hit hard to get a player down right!?

Anyhow the square, x, tackles look ugly anywayz!

hit stick in madden 10 does not require timing and positioning.

lol, you're not supposed to dive. Watch an NFL game, see how many players you see leave their feet for a tackle.

Re: Hitstick Warriors, cheese?

Not cheese, but a little overpowerd in terms of tracking. I'd say 1 out of 10 or around there, there is a suction/latching effect that I don't care for.

Is being a hitstick warrior a form of cheese?
I hitstick all the time, I only use the tackle button for open field tackles and sacks.

I also time the hitstick to defend passes, my defense wouldnt be much without it.

Re: Hitstick Warriors, cheese?

All ya'll cats saying hitstick is real and NFL players do it all the time GET REAL...if they do this all the time then they wouldn't have a job...you know how many tackles they'd miss...you can't consistantly try and rip a ballcarriers head off every play (in real life) but you surely can in madden...madden has no RISK plenty REWARD with no RISK and the reason the devs and creators of madden dont realize this is because they dont play regular people they only play guys at work the actually know when to use it and play within the unwritten code of madden football...which means playing realistic...so really your opinion of hitstick being real is bogus...it's not cheese but it's very very hugely unreal in madden...and not to mention you the ballcarrier gets warped into the animation which makes it even more deadly...and all this counter bull is irrelevent cause people will use hitstick all day and at some point you will forget and fumble or you'll be holding the RB(right-bumper) and still fumble...So what's the solution you say...1) Kill the suction tackles 2) Make hitstick even less potent...cause online and offline it's still as dangerous as 09...hitstick will be perfect when QB's, Kicker's, and O-Lineman cant make people fumble anymore
