Same here.

I hate the jerseys they have now - just yet another jersey outfit that's mostly blue.

Orange as the dominate color was unique, just like KC's blood red.

I'm guessing they probably would have added something else with the AFL pack to try to entice people to get the pack + something else if other game companies would have indeed included the AFL stuff as well or better than EA.

Or, maybe not. Who knows? Competition doesn't always make all things better. Sometimes you end up with a lot of the same across the board.

Yet, because this is EA, you create an entire thread to bash them for it. It's the EXACT SAME THING other games do, and no one has a problem with it, yet in here, it's blasphemy.

Ridiculous.
These other games dont use the profits from DLC to help pay for an exclusive liscense. EA sales have been slumping, buying overpriced extras helps ensure the liscense stays around after 2012.

Rock Band: Beatles
Guitar Hero: Metallica
Guitar Hero: Van Halen

Maybe fans of those respective bands will take those companies to court

Re: Are people actually buying the AFL Legacy pack?

I bought the pack as I like using the Chargers in Franchise mode. I like the feauture but it's a shame that you can't see the AFL field markings in whichever match you choose, and if the refs were in red every match it would stop me from thinking that they're defenders in coverage

As someone said earlier, the cost is similar to a sandwich and coffee so in isolation it's neither here nor there. I do feel a little guilty for buying it though as it sets a dangerous precedent and I'm pretty confident that if there was competition to Madden, then we wouldn't have to pay for this.

Oh well, too late for having a conscience. Here's to hoping that EA allow us to play with AFL field markings and red jersey refs in whichever matches we choose, especially as it's paid DLC.

I did and love the uniforms, field designs, madden moments, and achievements.
