3 sim engines..do any work?

I am just wanting a reasonable simulation of the nfl. The gameplay engine doesnt seem to do it. While I agree it is sometimes entertaining, is there anything about the engine that produces realistic results? This forum is full of the reasons why it is not. I've tried sliders, varying quarter lengths, coach mode, cpu v cpu, and there seems to be nothing to do to avoid the ridiculous interceptions, completion rates etc.

Supersim seems even worse. I only observe big plays, and the horrible clock. Stats are nowhere near realistic. Injuries?

Front end sim: ok this is the only one that appears to give results that are not crazy. Again this forum is full of the anomalies. But worse, its boring to just sim every game. If there were hightlights (like the old nfl2k) it would be at least moderately entertaining.

I realize I havent added anything new here..just very frustrated. All I really want is a football manager type nfl game. Is it really that hard?
