All of those things are tangible. Every NFL player has this data on file via NFL combine, pro days or some other event. Hell, you can eyeball a lot of this stuff.

Anything else should be modifiers. Wanna give a guy a % modifier for a special skill? Go ahead. Give him a 5% boost when he uses a rip move if he is good at that particular skill. I don't like the 1-100 rating for special skills. They shouldn't factor as much as the base attributes.

How about this EA?
I like that idea.

If anyone remembers Madden '92 the ratings scale was 1-15. I wish they'd go back to that.

Yep - Heck I wouldnt care if it was 1-3 as long as it made a difference.

IF RATINGS DONT MATTER oops, sorry

how come Adrian Peterson seems more unstoppable online than most other running backs?
or if you abuse the truck stick most RBs will do the same ?

Some ratings matter:

Speed
Pass Med
Pass Short
Pass Deep
Trucking (or what ever controls Brandon Jacobs)

That's about it.
