2nd Patch Kick Returns FAR too Easy

Ridiculous.

I finished my first season using the first patch, couple of days ago.

My guy, Percy Harvin had 18 KR TD's on 59 returns...Think about that for a second.
It is extremely simple, I don't juke or spin. I just sprint straight up the field where my blockers are and eventually hit the endzone. I made up a house rule after the season, that I cannot sprint after I hit the 30.
At least pre-patch I only had a max of 5 KR TD's(which is still pretty high), but not a game killer.
So sad that I have to make many house rules on my frikken game.

This is ridiculous.

I played few unranked games 5 mins each and here is how the kick returns went.

Baltimore (me - 4 KR TDs 1 called back b/c of hold) vs Giants (1 KR TD)
Bears (1 KR TD) vs Buffalo (me -2 KR TDs)
Atlanta (me - 3 KR TD) vs Pittsburgh (2 KR TDs)

It seems like I can run it back every time if I try. Left, Right and up the middle are all too easy. The opposing team just falls to the floor after getting blocked. You just have to break one tackle which is pretty easy to do in madden 10. Also what is up with two of my team mates running and getting the end zone before me and not blocking/slowing down guys chasing me down after I pass them by???

Pursuit angles are just horrid in this game.

There were times I had to break one tackle. But now I seem to have it down where I don't even get touched. I just behind the wedge, keeping in the middle of my blockers (left/right wise.) As soon as they block the first wave I run between the middle two, and then it's to the house for 6.

It plays out the same way every time. Sliders don't make a difference. I guess I could create a house rule not to sprint, but then it takes KR out of the game. For the Bears it should be a weapon that results in a TD once in awhile. But with Madden it's either every kickoff, at least two or three times a game, or never with a house rule.

Yeah I've noticed this too. It's deffinetly a problem.

yea i run alot of kicks back... i just ran three back in one game... but that wasnt the first time

i am having the same issue...pre-patch, i could maybe return 2-5 - post patch i think Ginn has 7 total including punt returns. I think it is a speed issue. i put in a slower returner and i have not had the same success.

I can't say its only due to the patch as i've found them easy but I take one or more back a game on all-madden every game if i don't run out of bounds to allow myself to play the game more realistically.

Its a pretty big problem for me and playing my buddies we always take kicks back, its way to easy as the defenders just get thrown down all the time.

can y'all gurus tell me the secret? because i swear for the life of me, i've only returned 4 total in my franchise (year 4).
