Major bug!!

Anyway, I was looking through career stats in franchise mode and I realized that some guys careers had bugs. Examples:

Prater, (a kicker), was listed as 0/40 on XP tries last year. This obviously messes up with the overall career stats.

Also I read that the developer Loopman said that tackles (even though they are mis-titled) are still taken into account in the back end. HE IS WRONG. Finish a season and look under career stats, they still have only their SOLOS listed as their totals! So if Urlacher has 70 solos and 40 assists in 2009 season, in 2010 under the players career it will list him as only having 70 tackles in 09!

Also after I finished one season, a rookie FA had a 15 career listing (an impressive one might I add) which showed stats from 15 years, even though hes a rookie!

I am frustrated with this as I LOVE to play multiple seasons and wanting my players to reach milestones (like tackles), NFL records or even make the HOF. These career stat bugs in franchise mode make it ridiculous to try and reach them.

yea man, lots of bugs in the game even when it comes to stats. it really shows how much really pays attention to what they're putting out. but hey, they still made their money so expect next years version to have tons of bugs too. thats what happens when a company stops caring because they have no competition so they dont have to try.

i mean i promise myself every year that im not gonna buy madden but around august i start smelling football in the air and i cant control myself. i need some sort of football to quench my fix and madden is the only thing out there with the NFL name. granted this year i really wasnt gonna buy it but i got it for $30 on launch day so i dont feel that screwed out of my money lol

yep, I haven't bought madden in years, but this year they actually had me duped....great marketing.

what? if i get banned or anything it'll speak to the integrity of the people here more than anything. im not disrespecting this site because i do get a lot of useful information and like posting here and they aren't the only ones. a lot of sites gave this game an overrated score.

just go to Bestbuy like I did and play it. i played the game with my friend for like 3 hours and let me tell you it wasnt worth the money. so whoever wants to buy Madden, go to Bestbuy they have it playing on those BIG TVs like 3 consoles. i dont know if your bestbuy does that but the one i went to and i immediately knew i wasnt gettin this game

Loopman (or whoever it was) didn't say that the tackles would be represented right on the career stat screen. He said that the tackles would not mess up progression, since the assists and solo tackles are both factored in. But thanks for trying to twist it around.
