Does anyone have any idea why the punters do not try to angle their kicks towards the sideline? All the kicks either go into the endzone or land between the 5 and 10 yard line.

this is probably my biggest complaint in terms of gameplay. Once in a blue moon, I'll see the cpu punter try and pin me in the coffin corner, but more often than not, it happens exactly as you described...the punt will either fly into the endzone, or bounce and die inside the 10 yard line. Very frustrating.

hm.. i dont really have that problem too much, but what i really cant stand (from a realism standpoint) is occasionally the punter will be on either their own 20-40 yrd line, and the punt will go out of bounds, but its always like a 20-30 yrd punt giving me the ball in great field position
