When they completely remove a player from a depth chart ... does that player return for future seasons in the Madden game? That sucks if they don't! Honestly I would like to go back to accurate "opening day" rosters if there is any way to do that? I never use pre-existing injuries anyway ... I'd rather start my franchise with every player available, and then let the chips fall as they may?

Any long-term injuries or retirements that happen within my franchise play is fine, but once I start a franchise I couldn't care less about matching the current NFL rosters! To do that you would have to continuously restart franchises, and I just don't see the point in that?

So with that said is there any way to retrieve accurate "opening day" rosters??? I guess worst case scenario a guy can always delete any downloaded roster files and simply use the default rosters?

^^ Delete the roster file, and start a franchise, it'll be base rosters...Crabtree and all. That's the only way.
