I can't do an unranked coop scrimmage with me and my buddy v 2 other random guys online?

I can only do it with another person who is online against two others?

You can't do 2 vs. 2 co-op. It's 2 humans vs. the AI. There's no point to online co-op on the same system since it would work the same offline.

I was bummed when I went to try that for the first time.

Had my cousin over, thought me and him would go online try smash 2 other guys.. But yeah, soon found out it doesn't work like that..

how would it work the same offline?
one is against human players the other is against a crappy computer AI

why add a feature like this and cripple it with that limitation?

dont feel bad first day i got game i went to try and get achievement which is complete pass to another on online co-op and to this day i still cant connect to anyone i have tried everything
