Franchise Mode Questions

1. Is there a way to fire and hire new coaches in franchise mode? if so, how?

2. How come when u trade and the interests are high the team won't accept your trade? it pisses me off

I haven't check out the offseason in Madden 10 yet.. but right before entering the free agency period, you should have some options to either fire/hire coaches, hire scouting agencies, etc. At that stage, you can make those moves.

Edit - Excuse me, it should be right before player retirements, not free agency period.

There must be something to the trade that doesn't pan out. Whether it's financial or involves roster spots, I believe the game gives you a reason why the trade won't go through.

I'm pretty sure you can hire/fire coaches, because I've seen graphics come up that tell how many years my coach has left on his contract. I don't think they would include that info if you couldn't change coaches

for trading its totally ridiculous. i get them at high interest but they don't take it. it says its rejected because they aren't interested it. its so stupid

Well, does the meter specifically say team interest or player interest? Again, I'm not sure how Madden 10 does it. Pretty sure you get a team interest meter for trades and a player one for free agency. I mean, if you can't see that the trade puts the other team over the CAP, or that they need to free up another roster spot or something, then I really don't know why the trade isn't going through.

You can indeed hire/fire coaches, during the offseason during the "owner mode" portion (right after the Super Bowl, the first phase of offseason).

I thought we could take over other team while in your franchise, I so how do I do this? I've been looking after my season is over but I still dont see anything(HELP) thanks to anyone on this.

Nope.. you cant... sorry... It is called franchise mode for a reason, not owner or GM mode....
