NFC Championship game/CPU clock managment

NFC Championship game
I'm the Packers
Cpu is the Saints

15 min quarters 15 sec accell clock

Early in the fourth quarter I'm up by 7 and the Saints are driving for the score. I get an interception and then run a 15 play 8 min drive for a TD.

Up by 14 with around 6 and a half minutes left and they are in no hurry whatsoever. they get down to my 25 with about 2 1/2 minutes left and on 4th down they... PUNT?!?!? WHAT? A trip to the Super Bowl on the line and they punt... from MY 25?

ok, so I end up going 3 and out, giving them the ball back with a minute left. 3 unsuccessful plays and with 1 minute left... THEY PUNT!?!

What is going on here? I want to win the game and go to the Super Bowl, but I want to earn it, not have the Saints hand me the game.

Really dissapointing.

The CPU's logic is just insanely stupid this year.
No sense of urgency whatsoever.
I'd love to see that patched.

it has to be patched. I feel so cheated that I was just given that game. I don't even feel like playing the Super Bowl now.

I know that this is riduculous that I have to do this, but....I play the opposing team on offense as well. When I am my team I am trying to win, and win I am playing the opposing team's offense I am trying to win. I find that it makes games more interesting. And it makes up for the computer's wacky offensive A.I. just a thought.

that does totally suck to do that, and no way would I ever do that. I love playing D! I just wish the CPU would
a) learn how to run the ball
b) actually consider the clock and not only run the hurry up under 2 minutes until the clock hits 1:00 and they take a time-out...

I have been complaining about CPU AI since the beginning but I think there is something is seriously wrong with the Saints and I believe the cause is that the Carney's kick power is way too low which forces the CPU to punt because it does not believe he can make it...

Maybe, but it wasn't a FG situation. They were down by 14 in the 4th, near the 2 minute warning with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line? You have to go for it!
