Madden 08 looks a lot better than 10!

I loved Madden 08, in 2007. But no way is it better than this years Madden. I hated 09, but it was better than 08. But what I miss is the field shredding up in the rain and snow, along with the muddy uniforms.

...anyway, Madden 08 was the worst. Graphics were cartoony and the gameplay was unplayable. Put it this way, Madden 09 was pretty bad and it was waaaay better than 08.

I agree with the poster, although Madden 08 was a crappy game, it did look better than 2010 but mainly because the players were different sizes. Play 2010 and you cant tell the difference between QB's Corners and LBs, only Lineman because they make them wider, I'd rather see a wider disparity in size, it would make the Pro Tak system look more rediculous, lolz...

If you think the "slowdown" hitch in 10 is bad, just play 08 on PS3. The framerate stutters were awful.

If the OP is playing on XBOX, it probably does look better. PS3 was bad-looking, bad-playing, etc.

Is not even close! the screen from madden 10 looks like a last gen, the shoots from 08 looks like a HD high resolution game.

I think Madden 10 is more detailed, but Madden 10 looks like a crispier picture.
