Here's the quote from Ian:

The fact of the matter is guys I just haven't had the time (or will power) to do the constantcommunity interaction. The negativity was tough to stomach but I'm already used to that. I'm in kind of a new role now at work so it has just been hard to find time. Add to the fact that it really has taken me a long time to kind of de-compress from the amount of work I put in during the cycle.

The interaction throughout the cycle was most definitely not a hype or marketing...to be frank, that would be a really bad idea (the amount of time I spent here talking to the same small amount of people doesn't quite return the investment). Also I don't think us being here would really stop the negative bashing. That still happened when I was on here for 4 hours every night.

I have been leaning on other guys at the office to try and get them to come here, but it's been slow going. Maybe the best approach would be to get a FAQ thread started up again and have the mods decipher, trim, and relay that information directly to us for us to answer all in one big chunk. That sound like a good idea? If so, I can bounce that around at work and get some volunteers.
Does the highlighted in bold not bother anyone? Has Ian been taken off the lead of developing M11? If so EA, in my opinion, is just treading water. You can't continually change leadership in any aspect of life and expect results. Continuity and delivering to Ian's vision are key. Ian deserves a 2nd year at the helm, and should get it.

What do you think a mod can do? Their lines of communication to Ian's are the same as ours.

He very well could have been promoted. New leadership is your interpretation of the quote

The question thread was made 4 days ago. I would assume it takes time to go through and sort through the mess, plus, in their spare times, they have a job to do.

I think it's more than fair to give them the benefit of the doubt.

What do I think a mod can do? Since Ian specifically said he wanted a mod to organize the thread and relay it to him, I was hoping they would help us out with that.
Apparently you didn't read my post, # 74 on the previous page.
Let me recap the whole thing for you, read slowly.

I hear you, but have you seen this thread? Can we get some help from the OS Moderators to get some questions answered?

The this guy posted:

The guy is busy and tired...let's just start a thread called Just the facts or something like that...no flaming, just direct questions/issues - such as:

2:00 minute CPU AI - can it be fixed

Stadium Specific Sounds - are there any more coming with the patch

etc.

To which Ian replied:

I like that idea. Then we'll get either someone inside EA or a mod here to collect it all into a list of questions, and we'll get 'em answered.

Yeah, i'm sure he has alot of stuff on his plate. I just hope we can get this done before this thread gets lost in obscurity. Like you said though, it's only been 4 days though.

Wow, why so defensive? If you go back to that thread you will see that I posted right after you and told you it was great idea. Geez.

I'm simply asking what you think a mod could do to relay this thread to Ian that you couldnt?

Ian said have a mod organize it, as it turned out, that wasn't needed since you did a good job. Your best bet at contacting him is attempting to get him on twitter just like everyone else does.
