Clevelan Browns.....

** I gave up on my Cowboys Franchise due to the fact that I made a lot of mistakes. Specially when it comes to managing my CAP. So I decided to do another Franchise. This time I chose to rebuild The Cleveland Browns. This will be my first time ever handling the Browns, so it will be a real challenge for me. I will do my best to bring this team to the Superbowl and of course win it.**

My Plans for this franchise are:

1. Build the defense - I'm going to build this team's D by way of drafting and some trading.
2. Making use of the young guns I already have.
3. Be able to establish the running game then using the WCO efficiently.
4. WIN THE SUPERBOWL ( Of course I don't expect to win it immediately ).

Concerns that needs to be attended:

1. QB - My team doesn't really have a reliable QB now. Let us see if I can get a good QB in the draft or FA signing, if not, I'll do some trading next season.

2. HB - The only reliable HB I have now is J. Lewis ( 84 OVR, 30 y/o) and he is an old bull now. I need some fresh legs to fill up the post'n when he retires.

3. RG and RT - F. Womack (RG) ( 76 OVR, 30 y/o) and J. St. Clair (RT) ( 73 OVR, 32 y/o). Quite old and not good blockers.

4. LE - K. Coleman ( 79 OVR, 30 y/o, C POT ). I can't waste my precious CAP with him.

5. ROLB - My starting ROLB is old and don't have a good stats, I mean OVR rating. D. Bowens (ROLB) ( 67 OVR, 32 y/o ).

6. K - I know some of you may luagh but yeah, my K isn't good as Gould.

FRANCHISE YEAR 1

Transactions:

1. Signed C. McAlister (CB) to a 1 yr deal wirth 7.55M

2. Traded C. McAlister (CB) for E. Dumervil (ROLB) + 2nd rnd pick + 3rd rnd pick of the Broncos
- This was really a NICE TRADE. Immediately made Dumervil into LE.

3. Released R. Ventrone (FS)

4. Signed M. Wahle (LG) for a 1 yr deal worth 7.26M

5. Traded. M. Wahle (LG) for C. Matthews (ROLB) + 3rd rnd pick of the Packers

6. Released A. Madison (CB)

7. Signed K. Barton (RT) to a 1 yr deal worth 780K

8. Rleased G. Lawson (CB)

9. Signed R. Harris (DT) to a 1 yr deal worth 780K

Interesting Draft Prospects:

1. K. Steven-Baker (QB)
2. W. Swecker (QB)
3. C. Hill (QB)
4. C. Harper (QB)
5. J. Smith-Gonzales (HB)

7. S. Jones (HB)
8. D. Nobles (WR)

Re: Clevelan Browns.....

Thats cheesy to sign FA and then immediatly trade them for a better, younger player.

It doesnt happen in the NFL at all and you are taking advantage of the crappy trade AI.

Therefore I submit your franchise is phony.

Then create a game that's "PERFECT". I'll buy it no matter how much it costs. Just be sure it's perfect and I will be entertained.

So you signed 2 FA just to trade them for players you couldn't have got in the first place. Then since you did a position change on one of them you signed them for a ton less than either 2 returning defenders that most likely don't have the same impact.

I understand its cool to rebuild a lost team, but you gotta do it without exploits to be taken seriously.

Actually, you shouldn't care if we take you seriously. The only thing you should care about is whether or not you will be able to keep interest in your own Franchise.

In my experiences, you are much better off making sure that you keep your team as realistic as possible.

Unfortunately, it is really hard to lose a game against the CPU (no matter the sliders). So, plan on going 13-3 or 12-4 with the Browns unless you force yourself to lose.

Re: Clevelan Browns.....

I'm posting it here 'coz I want to hear advices and comments from you guys. May it be negative or positive. Just don't say it's a phony. Blame EA for creating so many holes in it.

**If EA really put effort in the AI. AI should reject the offer lower than what they deserve, even if you change their position/s. Even better, AI should reject offers that would change their position/s, example: HB to a K. Would he really want to do that?? If I were the HB, I'd rather be traded to the other team. I hope you understand what I'm saying.**
