Re: Showboating on way to endzone?

For the 360 is B.

BUT! Be careful or else you'll do a stupid spin move and get caught.

You may press and hold B to do it, BUT the camera has to have switched to that "tunnel" mode where is zooms down and behind your guy as he's running.

Also, there cannot be anyone even kinda close to you.

If both things are true, hit and hold B as you're approaching the end zone and he will show boat.

Untill I realized this I ruined a few TD's myself after what should have been a clean break away TD or a pick-6.

One time the camera following my guy changed and zoomed closer to my guy, so I thought I could show boat, but I had the CPU QB running too close behind me. I hit B, and to my surprise did some stupid spin move and the QB caught me by the ankles at the 5 yard line. I was SOOO pissed. It should been a pick 6.

^^what he said, but dont try until you are inside the 20...you need to have a good 7-10 yards of space around you for the guy to do it.

I used the square button to get a cool dive and my player flopped down and fumbled in the endzone... UGH!!

Re: Showboating on way to endzone?

it's not just B on the 360, the X button also works as well... i think any of the face buttons do honestly.

however, as has been mentioned you have to be extremely careful when you do it. i've dove countless times trying to showboat and end up coming short of the TD. lame.
