Question About Turnovers (A.I.)

Does this game purposely keep games at a reasonably close margin? There have been countless times i'm playing someone online where i'll be up by 21, the other guy will throw up a pass that's an easy pick for one of my defenders and my defender will just drop it. When I know if i was maybe losing or was only up by 3 or 7 points, the guy would catch it no doubt. wtf is this?

sometimes it will get out of hand where i'll have guys drop tons of easy INTs in a row simply because i'm winning by too much.

this just reminds me of old school games like nba jam where you're up by 18 and you go to dunk it and the ball will bounce off the back of the rim in order for the AI to keep the games closer.

this is so cheap. if i'm playing someone online and i'm clearly better than them, i deserve to win by as much as i can.

Re: Question About Turnovers (A.I.)

i understand theres guys that drop easy picks but heres the situation that sometimes comes up online. I'll get off to a huge start against an inferior player. lets say its 21-0. The other guy will get the ball back and continue making awful throws right into the hands of my defenders but now that i'm up 21-0, they drop the potential INTs. i just feel its the games way of keeping the games close, when really, it should just let nature take its course and not reward sh1tty players

Well, I have played a few games online and usually get stomped (thats why I don't play online) but I never seem to get handed favors like.

Re: Question About Turnovers (A.I.)

I got this game free, have always been an online player for many years.I played a good 35+ games online with it,took it out of my XBox 360,and went to work on the disc, booklet and promised myself i would never Play another ea sports football ever again.

The GARBAGE Morphing of the defense,LB's,SAFTEYS AND CORNER'S Jumping 15 feet to swat or pick a pass off when wr's such as Devin Hester are 5-10 yards ahead of the cb is a down right disgrace to the sport of football and not sim at all,I won't even get into all the one handed INT'S I have seen online and the sudden SONIC speed bursts by the defense.

no wonder people resort to dink and dunk, flats and the middle slants all freakin game, because the deepball is dead, and so is the sim crowd.

EA AND IAN,It's one thing to lose to my opponent fair and square, but i will be damned if i sit there and waste an hour of my time losing to my opponent's CPU controlled player's that dictate when and how i will be picked off or lose that fumble in the fight for the fumble animation button press mess.
