What is speed threshold?

Sounds like a dumb question, but I'm a pretty dumb guy.

It's how much speed ratings play out in game -- AKA you know how sometimes a 98 speed guy will get chased down by an 85 speed guy? The bigger the speed threshold is, the more the difference in speed is, so if you turn it up, that 98 speed guy will now outrun the 85 speed guy by a bunch.

I'm pretty sure it's the other way around. If you keep it at 0, it means the difference between a 98 SPD and an 85 SPD will be very noticeable. The more you raise it, the more that gap closes.

0. I haven't played on anything else since my first few games and it's all good

It seems to function as nothing more than a minimum speed rating adjustment.

IE, at threshold 75, and player rated below 75 would have a speed rating of 75. A player with 80 speed wouldn't be effected... directly anyway, obviously "80" becomes a less significant speed rating if everyone else's is at least 75.

I would be interested to know if this is the case, I've heard 0 is the biggest difference and I've heard 100 is the biggest, I've never checked it out.
