I started up a new Bears franchise because they just traded for Adams. So I traded my 2nd round pick to the Bucs for their 6th just to make it a little more fair to them.

So anyways I used pre-existing injuries so no Urlacher. Well low and behold in the preseason, Briggs gets a season ending injury. Then in the first game against Green Bay, Cutler goes down for the season.

lol so now my team is screwed for this year. Oh well time to start looking for a starting quarterback for this year.

Thing like this make Madden so much more fun, I lost Eli 4 week in to my first Giants season. Traded for Matt Lienart went 10-6

in my bengals franchise i got going right now im in yr 1. Im 6-3 right now. first bernard scott (my #2 rb goes out for 3wks-i use him in wildcat and split carries with benson). then right before he comes back from injury cedric benson is out for 4 wks. then i get bernard scott back and then guess who goes out next...u guessed it, carson f'n palmer. and hes out for 9wks so that will put him out til playoffs if we make it. this makes it interesting tho cuz thats 2 of my best players out and that puts a monkey wrench in my season.

funny thing is the 1st start for backup qb jt o'sullivan and he gets player of the game haha!! but as errant as most of his throws are, its gonna be a challenge just to get more good games out of him and put some more W's on the board so we can get to playoffs and have carson get back in.

I have a Tampa Bay franchise in which i'm trying to rebuild the team and get them to a competitive level, well two games in year two, i've lost my starting QB, MLB, CB, and FS for the year. Worst run of luck i've had but its fun to have to battle through and make moves, though right now I only went after another QB to be back up.

I tend to move to the wildcat based offense though when my QB goes down, just takes the pressure off them.

I give you props. Most people probably wouls have just started over. It always makes it more interesting when you have to fight through injuries.

that does suck man. i lost Jason Campbell for the season on the second play of my first preseason game. tore an acl. the tackle really didn't look like that was possible, but.. whatev. i won the superbowl with colt brennan at qb, but it was cp that won me games. i think i went 10-6 and had some really close playoff games. playing with a bad qb really makes things more interesting.

good luck finding a replacement qb. actually, colt brennan has a 'b' potential and is pretty accurate with short/intermediate passes.
