Trading HELP in Madden 10

What's good fam?

I am playing franchise mode using the Chiefs (Same team I gotta use in Online chise *I wanted Ravens!*) Anyway, I wanted to trade for Demetrius Williams. I am trying to trade the Ravens Mark Bradley WR who is a 69 in-game. Williams is rated a 66, but this is what gets me.

On the "Interest" meter the green bar is like one move away from being full and the meter has the interest level being "High", but when I go to put the trade through, it says the Ravens is not interested. My question to you folks is might this be a glitch? Or do the Interest Meter need to be full on all trades? Good lookin' out and have fun if you have Madden and when the others get it.

Give Me a break. So your trading a game because another team wont trade you the player you want. Increase your offer. Sometimes teams dont want to trade a player. People complain if trading is easy then complain if its too hard. And stop pretending your turning the game in. Guarantee you keep it. And enough with the warnings for everyone who buys it.

Re: Trading Help in Madden 10

Reading is quite fundamental, but I guess I need to rename my thread. I guess this game is on the weird side to me. Since they didn't want Bradley, I traded Engram for Williams and I got a 2nd round pick, too. Doesn't make for smart logic I think. Giving up a 2nd pick for a 36-year old WR? *Shrugs*

Title is a little misleading, but your reading comprehension is FAIL.

Re: Trading in Madden 10

Wow way to go for the jugular vein there Happyfolk....

But yea, trading in this game is much improved in comparison to older versions. Just because you see that green bar and a high interest doesn't mean the team will pull the trigger on that deal. I was looking to pick up a decent #2 receiver but couldn't find one in the FA and my incoming draft class was light on talent at WR. And trading away any of my first 3 picks were out of the question.

So i pulled a sign and trade and signed both Darren Sproles and Terrence McGee and traded them to the Cardinals for Steve Breaston and a few draft picks. I was just fortunate enough to be able to sign those two guys and make that trade right before the draft, if either one of them didn't opt to become a free agent that season then I don't have Mr. Breaston on my team.

Re: Trading in Madden 10

The players are similar with not much seperating them "Talentwise"!

You want something from them, they did not come to you. So you have to increase your offer. The ball is in there court.

You want Williams soooo bad, then pony up some draft picks along with the player.

Re: Trading in Madden 10

Well, the trade you pulled off! WTF!!!!

I thought EA fixed that?

I guess "House Rules" are still in play this year?

No team trades for a 36 year old WR and throws in a 2nd rd pick.

Hey Josh, trade logic still needs some work.
