AFL effect not in Franchise mode?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I was just starting my first AFL game between Denver and NE in my franchise, and for some reason when I start the game the old grainy effect isn't in the game. Unis and all that is there, but I can't get the old effect to show. How do I do that?

In franchise mode, the AFL presentation is only for the games that are "official AFL legacy games". So yes, that does mean no AFL presentation at all in Franchise mode after the 1st season.

This is the first season, it's this weekends game between Denver and NE, which is an AFL matchup in real life too.

You think for an add-on that we pay extra for they'd do it up a little bit better than that.

I think you have to enable it at the team select screen. It's like the left trigger or something. If I was near my Xbox I would check it for you.

Re: AFL effect not in Franchise mode?

When I go to the Play Now screen and select two AFL teams, I can hit the RT button and get the AFL mode, and I can also select AFL effects on or off in the Advanced Settings screen before I play the game, but in the Franchise game I don't see any option to turn on or off the AFL settings.
