I blocked a field goal the first time I played Madden. Just like the computer has done to many of you guys, I used the MLB and shot through between the snapper and guard, untouched, and blocked it. Hasn't happened to me though.

I missed extra points before but I have never had any of them blocked nor blocked any of them.

Nope never had any FG or punts blocked and ive been playing this game non stop since release :P

Actually Blocking a FG is really easy... Actually Online this happens alot. I guess it's something broken.

I haven't blocked a Field Goal or XP since Madden '02. But just the other night I was playing my Chiefs franchise and I was ready to kick a game winning field goal, it was blocked, I didn't see it happen, I snapped the ball and all of sudden it jump to coin to the coin in OT, I couldn't even check the replay. It happened so fast.

Ok so I hate how it happens, with the ridiculous one-handed grab and that (or the time my own blocker turned and caught the attempt in the gut- should've saved that replay)!!

But blocked PATs and FGs happen - hell I remember one year where Flozell Adams blocked 2 FGs and a PAT in the same year so I am glad it can be done, seems pretty random to me, never been able to do it on purpose and I have only seen it like 5 times in like 100+ games!

Thing is though, they really need to fix the stupid catch deal and that fact that the stat doesn't show up!

When I put the speed threshold high, I started getting lots of blocks.

From 75 on up, I got more blocks.
