I only have 3 games in Madden now, but I have noticed the LBs seem to stand in place too long, and then take direct paths (many times getting blocked unnecessarily). #23 almost looked like he was doing the same thing, only he never attempted to attack/engage the HB.
Hopefully its tuned in the second patch!

Yes, I've seen that before. Out of curiosity, how anyone ever broken out of a gang and not scored a TD ??? Everytime that ridiculous animation starts you can be sure that it's going to be a TD.

Never seen it before then again not many people use the stiff arm. I see stuff like that way more often on NCAA. Like Joe Mcnight whipping LB's and S's to the ground with one arm.

yea.. I've only managed it a couple times, and usually with the 'spin-out-of-gang-tackle' animation that is functionally the same, but if you get it in between the hashes you usually end up tackled anyways as soon as the animation breaks.

is it weird when i play with ricky williams that i see a lot of new animations that i have never seen? i mean i played over 100 games and yesterday i saw yet another animation of him trying to break a tackle that i have never seen.

Well...I haven't, everytime the running back breaks out of a gang tackle, he takes it in for 6.

It's not that bad too me since its a CB b/c i see CB stand around the pile often thinking the back is tackled only to have the back break loose and they miss the tackle but thats not to say Pro Tak doesn't needs to be tuned a lil.
