When both Madden and NCAA were first released on Ps2 back in 00, 01, they were essentially the same game. And in a couple of years, imo, NCAA was the better game. They had everything down pat.

Now we get to next gen, and they strip everything out of the game(totally unecessary, imo) and we're playing catchup. Madden took 10 steps this year, and NCAA took 1 step.

If NCAA put in a Madden effort for '11, it'd take the top spot easily because college is more exciting these days than the NFL

EA needs to blow up the current Madden game and start over.
For every fix they make to the old game, a new problem pops up.
Of course that isn't going to happen, because it takes a lot longer than nine months to build a game from scratch.

On topic - Madden 11.

On topic - Madden 11.

Exactly, it'd be great if they took an extra 6 months or so for the next Madden and made it a GREAT game, but we know the contract/NFL won't let that happen

Then spend 6 months less on the next iteration?

Anywho, on topic. NCAA Football franchise is dying. The sales aren't there.

Look for it to be discontinued in a few years unless something drastic happens.

NCAA MADDEN integration. You better hope so.
