Who to put in the slot: Anquan Boldin or Calvin Johnson?

In my Cardinals Franchise I traded for Calvin Johnson so I can run 3 WR sets with the best trio in football (Fitzgerald, Boldin, Johnson). But I'm not sure who I want to put in the slot, Boldin or Johnson.

Johnson would give me a 6-5 slot receiver that can do it all, but Boldin has the high truck rating to break tackles and get yards after the catch.

Right now I'm leaning towards putting Boldin in the slot, who would you put in the slot?

well in madden, it wont matter cuz they'll be open all day no matter who u put in there! lol

nah, realisticly, i would put boldin in the slot. that toughness is a must. i believe in having your height on the outside and your speed and strength on the inside. my experience with height on the inside was bad but i guess cuz it was with a bad player. not sure if you are familiar with James Hardy of the buffalo bills...6'5'' player with a good amount of spectacular catch and jumping...but he's softer than a pillow with his horrific injury rating so he's constantly dropping well placed balls due to hard hits and getting injured constantly.

anywho, besides the point...i would choose boldin...toughness is key, and anquan has it

How did you get Johnson?

They traded the only WR they have?

I made quite a few trades, it ended up being something like LT Gandy, 1st, and a 1st for Calvin, 2nd, 4th.

And I ended up going with Boldin for the slot... like the poster said above, the height on the outside is working for me. When single coverage occurs Calvin is better at going up high to get it.
