FA Signing?

I haven't started a franchise yet b/c i'm still waiting on the patch so i just been sim season doing some offseason stuff so it won't be brand new to me when i start. (Cmon Patch! ) Something wierd happen to me in FA signing the other day. I bid first on a OLB (4 yrs/ 13.00 m) advanced the week and was outbided by ARI 4 yr/ 13.30 mil. So i'm like ok i'm in a bidding war, cool. So I up the ante 4 yrs/ 13.70 and then i get a message saying my offer rejected my bid no longer consider in to 3. Ok so i go up to 4 yr/14 mil, same thing. I rasie offer all the way up to 4 yr/ 16 mil, but to no avail. So i'm thinking to myself as I advanced a day how can my offer not be in the top three when ARi offer is only 4 yr/13.30 mil. Needless to say i didn't get my OLB. I'm i missing something?

Is your team bad? FA's often flat out won't sign with a bad team, regardless of money.

I was the Rams.And yea i know about that and have seen that message b4 but the crazy part was that he accepted my first offer and his interest meter was green and said very high.
