I don't...but I do know Donny will rate players off highlights and IMO totally irrelevant things like for example he gave Donald Penn starting LT of the BUCCANEERS a CTH (catching) increase off a broken play and that leads me to question his method of ratings and when I found out he gave this guy a increase I was just dumbfounded...

Re: Dante Wesley

I believe that was a cheap shot by Wesley but does it matter? Are you going to use Donald Penn as a receiver cause he has a catch increase NO, are you going to use a special teams cornerback just because he had an increase in hit power NO. No need to make a big deal about this.

Look fellas I'm not trying to make a huge deal of this it's just the principal...why raise his hit power on a cheap shot (Wesley)...way raise his CTH on a once in a lifetime play(Penn)....he needs to focus on the bigger things...the real ratings and making players play more to their strengths like they mentioned they would...IMO I haven't seen that yet

Re: Dante Wesley

The hit wasn't impressive. Any gunner in the NFL could make that same hit. Hell, any gunner in college could make that hit. Cheap shot is an understatement. A rating increase is a joke, like alot of Donny Moore's ratings.

That being said, Dante Wesley laid a ridiculously solid hit on the guy. Cheap, maybe. Maybe he didn't see the fair catch signal, maybe he thought the ball would get to the player before the hit, who knows what he was thinking. Who cares, honestly? Fact is he laid that guy out big time, and illegal or not a rating boost isn't in bad taste or anything like that. If Philip Rivers, for example, made a throw on the run beyond the line of scrimmage 80 yards downfield would you not agree arm strength and throw on run should be bumped a little? Of course it should be. The play was illegal, just like Wesley's, but the fact remains a boost is in order, no matter how slight.
it doesnt take much for some guy to "tee off" on a defensless unaware player.jus because he hit the guy hard doesnt say hes a good hitter, that play was cheap, the returner had no way to protect himself. go look at rey lewis break mendenhals collar bone thats a freakin hit lol

Re: Dante Wesley

he was just trying to time it. clearly he was looking at the returners eyes. he saw them got big, assumed the ball was close, and try to time his hit perfectly. we see this all the time. if the returner touches the ball a second sooner, it's a fantastic play. i'm not standing up for him, because obviously he didn't time it right and hit a defenseless player. a cheap shot? i don't feel like it is. it's football. you're going to get hit. if the punter put a fraction less arc on the ball, wesley's 'cheap shot' becomes the number 1 play on 'jacked up'. dante wesley isn't a dirty player. he was just trying to make a big play. he was just a second too fast..

also- what was the change in his hit power? 50 to 52? i doubt it was that good to begin with. why is this such an issue?
