I have seen this twice, the first time I brushed it off. But last night it happened again so I thought I would ask you guys about it. Basically if a defenders hits a ball carrier at the goal line then it seems that the entire screen goes white and a click noise is made. Has anyone else noticed this? If so, why does this happen?

Apparently a couple other forum sites have mentioned the same thing. It must be some sort of "animation" when a player is hit at the goal line while trying to jump into the end zone.

Maybe it is suppose to simulate cameras flashing?

I've never seen it myself but it sounds like they were trying show the effect of getting your clock cleaned.

Well it only happens in the goal line, not to mention that I was playing D.

Can you upload an EA sports world video of it? I've never seen it.

Yeah this happened to me once, I was like whoa... oh wait it's EA so I knew it was ok.

Maybe you were dying and saw you life flash before your eyes because it's impossible to make goal line stops. Maybe I'm just being really cynical, I'll let you figure that out.

Usually happens when you really lay the smack down on someone in the endzone or near the goal line.

I suppose it's intended to give sort of a suspenseful moment, while also adding to the "wow" factor of the hit.

What I really want to see is what happens after the flash if a fumble or something is made...
