Let me preface this with, I haven't been in this forum for a while since I traded my Madden in a few months ago. I came in here for the first time in a while the other day and noticed that their weren't any threads by the devs. This time last year there were numerous threads talking about what they wanted to try to do and gauging people's opinions on certain aspects of the game and all kinds of stuff. Now I see none of that. Are they gone now?

IAN has been around. I think 2 weeks ago he start a thread about patch 2. And I think he is in the OS franchise threads alot

For the most part yeah. It looks that way. I had made a post months, and months back questioning whether they wanted to be part of the community or just pump their game to increase sales with the months following the drop of the game being the real test of their intent. I just got Madden 10 a couple of weeks ago, and haven't really seen them on the board since I started following the forum again. I'm not sure why they aren't around now, but it doesn't look good/right whatever the reason. If there's an explanation thread / post by them, could someone please post a link to it?

From what i can tell the devs only came to the boards to get ideas for new game features (alternative jersies/customizable players) - you know, the sprinkles.

I think they intended on working on the gameplay parts at their own pace.

I don't think they needed this forum to tell them the things that were wrong with the game.

They couldn't take the negativity/didnt want to respond to problems they had no answer for. They'll be back around February/March when they don't have to worry about pursuit angles, oline ratings, and such and they can just tell you how great Madden 11 will be.
